OSS founder and Director Barry Randall has been awarded the 2025 National Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards Officer of the Year.
Baz and Mrs R. headed to Canberra for the National Awards Ceremony recently, after Baz won the 2025 Victorian Officer of the Year award.
His award was presented by the Honourable Josh Wilson, MP Member for Fremantle & Assistant Minister for Emergency Management, ACT Commissioner Wayne Phillips and Ret. Supreme Court Judge Richard Refshauge.
Congratulations to all of the finalists on their wonderful efforts and the work they do for their various communities. This annual Rotary award acknowledges the “above and beyond” mentality that many emergency services personnel display day in and day out, and we are so pleased that Baz has been recognised for what he does for the veteran and first responder communities through Operation Soul Surf.
Big thanks to our sponsors and supporters who believe in what we do and recognise the value in caring for and supporting others through surf therapy.
